There are few people who exude joy as ferociously as the bright and bubbly Jane Brook. The gorgeous House of Colour Specialist empowers women by educating them on the best colours for their skin tone, giving them confidence in the clothes they wear. An Autumn herself, Jane’s a leopard print lover who embraces colour. Here we delved into her wardrobe to find out her style secrets.
What are your wardrobe essentials for this season?
I’ve recently got back into the gym so I’m spending a lot of time rocking Sweaty Betty’s power gym leggings. Otherwise, I’m a Donna Ida girl and you will usually find me in Minnie Flares with a tee shirt and clogs. Of course I always add a bit of personality with my fave Balenciaga razor blade necklace!
We know how obsessed you are with SH, What’s in your handbag right now?
Lipstick of course! Plus my Maui Jim sunnies, perfume in case I need a spritz, my Kindle in case I get a cheeky ten mins gap and always my House of Colour vitamin mist – it’s a lifesaver on warm days!
Are you a mini bag or huge tote girl?
I LOVE a big bag - go big or go home! Unless I’m glammed up for cocktails in which case I’m all about the Violet clutch in leopard and tan. I wear her cross body, so I have both hands free for food and drink- it’s a win-win!
Which Sarah Haran bag is your favourite style / colour combination?
It’s animal print all the way for me and Ivy in yellow leopard with her matching tassel on my bottle green Dahlia wins every time! Plenty of space for all my things and ever stylish.
You always get it right when it comes to styling. What’s your favourite way to mix your Sarah Haran bag up?
Ooh the combinations are endless, I could never choose just one. I love to have Ivy in the front - she’s such a great way to keep my lippy to hand and adds an extra zing but I also love a scarf….and I may need a Porcelain Dahlia… I’m a true SH addict!
If you could design your dream bag, what would it look like?
A cavernous slouchy orange bag with leopard accessories and compartments so things don’t get lost! Plus a built-in torch so I can see the depths. Always gold hardware as that suits my Autumn.
As a colour specialist, can you give us a few ideas on which bags we should have in our own wardrobes?
